Stressed over the fact that Christmas is less than a week away? Then let me offer you a blissful thought.. this time in one week, it will be O-V-E-R. Your living room will look like Geoffery the GiraffeLOBS-eggnog.jpg threw up in it and you won’t have showered in two days, but you’re good to go for at least another 10 months. See? Not so bad after all!

If you’re like me and have guests arriving over the next few days, you’re trying to get in as much quality YOU time as possible. Whether it’s a moment stolen in the bathroom (not) taking a shower or going out for a chaotic, yet solo shopping trip to Target, you seek refuge where you can find it. Sadly, I doubt I’ll have much “me” time until after Christmas but man oh man, if the kids are counting down the days until the big guy shows up, I am counting the seconds until he’s come and gone.

With all the running around, buying, wrapping, entertaining and kids home, no season is more prime for mommy meltdowns than Christmas. So what will you do if you get a few moments of peace and quiet to yourself? Have a cuppa tea or a glass of wine? Or keep it seasonal with a glass of eggnog and your favorite show? No matter what you choose to do, you and I both know how important it is to take time to breathe during these next few days.

This week’s blog share is your chance to link up your favorite post about taking you time. What you do with it.. where you go… what you read. I’m honored (as always!) to cohost this event with some of the best Elvettes in the world! I’m sure they need no introduction by now, but they deserve that and more:
