Stop the Christmas Chaos!!

There is so much irony in our LOBS topic this week… insane schedules during the holidays. Why ironic? I have been so neglectful of my favorite hobby – this blog – for the past few weeks. I have justchristmas stress been absolutely slammed at the office and with the girls that by the time I finally get to sit down with a glass of wine in front of the TV, I can’t put 2 words together much less 2 sentences. And I’m afraid it’s only going to get worse with Christmas less than 3 weeks away.

BUT! There is hope in the end and that hope is December 27th when our company leaves and I pretty much go into hibernation mode. Do not ask me to go anywhere.. do not ask me to do anything.. I just want to stay home, play with my toys and get my blog(s) cleaned up, my goals set and my calendar in order.

One of the ways that I do corral the chaos is with my all time favorite Christmas app that goes WAY beyond Christmas. Think of it as an organizer for any event where gift buying is required. The app is called Gifts HD 2 and I discovered a couple of years ago. At some point, I emailed the support team with questions, and since then have had the honor to be on the inside track for updates, beta, etc. This app is incredible and is the only way that I can keep on track and on BUDGET during the holidays. You can have multiple events (Christmas, birthdays, etc.) and you can review what you’ve done in years past. The only thing that I wish this app did is let you know if you’re over budget when you set up your people and their individual budgets but I’m sure it’s coming.

What else keeps me sane during the holidays? My girlfriends. Both local and far away, they help me keep it real and included in that list are these ladies who host this party with me!
