Admit it. There has been some point in your life where you have NEEDED to make an envelope. It happened to me last week when I turned the girls loose on signing cards for their Grandmothers for Mother’s Day and the Queen Mum’s birthday. They were all excited over signing the cards and then they stuff them in the envelope and start going to town on decorating the envelopes.
Totally adorable, right?
Until you realize that you have to address the envelope and send it out via US Postal Service. And now you have no suitable way to mail it. And dangit! why don’t you ever grab extra envelopes when you’re at the store? Or even better than that, ordering them in bulk from an online office supplier like Office Monster. Certainly one to think about for the future
That’s where Kreate-a-Lope comes in. The folks that invented this sent me a couple of their envelope making kits to try out and see how easy it is to make your own envelopes and I love it. Super easy to use and I can already think of a ton of ways to use it..
- All those art projects the kids make?
- Cute coloring pages?
- Hand written stories and poems?
- Grabbed the wrong envelope at Hallmark?
- Kids scribbled all over the right one?
- Professional sweepstaker like my mom? You want cool envelopes & you can save money!
- Threw out the payment envelope to that bill?
You see where I’m going with this. This is just one of those things that you never think that you’d ever use. Until you use it and then you wonder how you ever did without it. And it’s EASY! Look how easy it is to make your own envelopes..
See how easy that is? Place, rip, fold, glue and stuff! The possibilities are endless for the kind of envelopes that you can make. You can use paper, magazines, wrapping paper, wallpaper, etc.
Right now, Nick and his team are in the middle of KickStarter campaign and they have hit their first THREE goals!! Now they’re hoping to hit the last 2 before the end of the campaign in 4 days. Go check them out and if you’re a crafter or own kids who do crafts, consider donating to their cause so they can make 3-6 new envelope making templates. You can also keep up with them on Facebook!
Best of luck to you and your team, Nick!! Thanks for making such a great product that none of us knew we needed!!
