Somedays Are Just Like That

I try. I really, really do. But no matter how hard I try, the older I get the harder it is for me to bite my tongue. I KNOW that I’m supposed to smile and be nice all the time but every trip to the kids school is a test in that knowledge.

Moms.. if you can’t juggle being a stay at home parent and volunteering the crap out of your time, please give something up. And seeing that I don’t advocate kids being left alone, please give up over volunteering at the school. I have witnessed no less than three incidents over the past two weeks of a stressed out mom biting someone’s head off because the “offender” didn’t do something “her” way. One of those was me and another was my 8 year old. Really? An 8 year old whose worst offense was asking where the food was at the Spring Fair. The horror.

Of course, docile Debbie here doesn’t keep her mouth shut which is probably where the seed was planted for this little beauty:

Can’t wait to wear it to the PTA meeting or Back to School night. Renegade mom patrol reigns supreme!!
